Our PTFA – A Valued Part of Our School Community
We are incredibly fortunate to have a dedicated and enthusiastic PTFA (Parents, Teachers and Friends Association) who play a vital role in school life. This committed group of parents, carers and staff volunteer their time to support the school, making a real and lasting difference to the experiences and opportunities we are able to offer our pupils.
The PTFA is led by an annually elected committee, currently chaired by Mrs Leanne Harrison, and works tirelessly to organise a wide range of events and fundraising activities throughout the year. These include much-loved occasions such as the Summer Fair, coffee mornings, Christmas events, book fairs and other creative initiatives. The funds raised help to enhance resources, provide additional opportunities and enrich the learning experience for all children.
Just as importantly, the PTFA plays a key role in bringing people together. Their events provide inclusive and welcoming opportunities for families and the wider community to connect, celebrate and enjoy shared experiences. This strong sense of belonging and community spirit is something we are very proud of and is a key part of what makes our school special.
The PTFA meets regularly to plan events, share ideas and ensure there are opportunities for everyone to get involved. Regular communication keeps families informed and encourages participation across our school community.
Getting Involved
There are many ways to get involved with the PTFA, whether you can give a little time or a lot. You might choose to:
- Attend events with your family
- Volunteer to help at an event
- Share ideas or support planning
- Contribute resources or expertise
Every contribution, big or small, is greatly valued. By getting involved, you will not only support the school but also help strengthen the connections that make our community so special.
We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support, energy and commitment of our PTFA—they truly make a positive difference to our school.
