International Artist Day – Great Places Project
As part of our wider enrichment opportunities, pupils have the chance to take part in creative projects such as the Great Places Exchange Project, working alongside professional artists from both the UK and internationally.
Through these experiences, pupils engage in a range of artistic workshops, including clay work, printing and sculpture. Working with practising artists provides a valuable opportunity for children to develop new skills, explore different techniques and express their creativity in meaningful ways.
These sessions not only enhance pupils’ artistic knowledge but also promote confidence, collaboration and an appreciation of art and culture from different perspectives. Experiences like this enrich the curriculum and help inspire a lifelong interest in the arts.
